New Challenge is an activities equipment provider in the Western New York area. We may best be described as an "activities catering service." Just like a caterer we will bring the type of activity equipment which you request for your specific needs. According to the rental package you choose we will set up and take down all systems within the block of time allocated for activities that day. Some of these systems seem large but they can be moved into any area on any floor inside outside wherever there are people!
Our customers include all directors, managers, and coordinators responsible for providing activities in residential/day program settings such as nursing homes and group homes. Our goal is to provide high quality game/sports systems which allow all people an opportunity to play, develop motor skills and have enhanced social interaction.
Each system is kinetic. There are moving balls, paddles, levers or buttons all integrated into a visually appealing package that residents and facilitators will enjoy. The designs also attract family members and friends of residents to participate. The portable activity system (PAS) is designed for easy set up and take down. Our company will do all the heavy lifting! No electric power is needed for any game. Those that rely on power are safe, low voltage battery powered which we supply.
Our premier bowling system nicknamed " foosbowl", allows an individual, seated or standing, to flip a ball at small bowling pins and earn a score just like full scale bowling. A second person is the scorer and pinsetter. Three of these systems are designed to be used simultaneously so six players would be independently active during the session. If more players need to be active then a second set can be set up if space is available at the facility.
Our philosophy is to tailor our designs to the challenges and abilities of our clients. Plans for many more systems are in the works.
We understand the recreational and therapeutic needs of residents. Goal setting can be made around the use of the PAS.
